Essay Section?

SAT: Essay is optional and is the final segment of the test.  50 minutes allowed to read a given piece of writing by a relevant author and analyze how the author proved his/her point. Not included in composite SAT score.

ACT: Essay is optional and is the final segment of the test.  40 minutes allowed to analyze different viewpoints on a given topic.  Not included in composite ACT score.
